We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any appointment requests at our sole discretion.
To secure your booking, an initial payment equivalent to the first commissioning / notarization fee of $32.99 is required. This amount will be credited towards your total service charge upon completion of your transaction.
Clients may request to reschedule appointments up to 2 hours before the scheduled time without incurring additional charges. Rescheduling outside this 2-hour timeframe may be subject to a fee equivalent to the first notarization fee of $32.99, and availability for the new appointment time is not guaranteed.
Clients are expected to arrive promptly for scheduled appointments. Late attendance may result in a reduction of the commissioner / notary service duration, and the commissioner / notary is not obligated to extend the appointment beyond the scheduled time. If a client is more than 10 minutes late, the Commissioner / Notary will end the session, and the client will be deemed a No Show.
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice will be considered a "No Show." No-shows may result in a fee equivalent to the first notarization fee of $32.99, and the commissioner / notary reserves the right to terminate the appointment.
Clients are kindly requested to notify us in advance if they must cancel an appointment. To encourage responsible scheduling, a cancellation fee of $32.99 will be applied to cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time. This is in addition to the terms outlined in our refund provision.
All prices listed do not include the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). Applicable taxes will be added to the total service charge as required by law.
If an error made by us leads to a document's rejection by the intended agency or organization, we will issue a full refund. However, refunds will not be granted in cases where the error arises from the client selecting an incorrect form or document, or from a misunderstanding of the document's requirements on the client's part.
Refund eligibility for cancellations is determined by the 2-hour cancellation timeframe outlined in these terms and conditions. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the email address arevalolegal.ca@gmail.com and processing times may apply. No refunds will be provided for no-shows.
